I just finished a fantastic book from 99U, an organization focused on helping people make ideas happen, called Maximize Your Potential: Grow Your Expertise, Take Bold Risks & Build an Incredible Career. It’s a collection of short chapters from various specialists making it a very easy read. The cool thing is that even if you’re retired or approaching the end of your career, you can easily replace “career” in title with “hobby” or “retirement” because the concepts apply to anything that you want to get the most out of. All in all, I found the book to be a great way to get the wheels turning for new ideas on whatever it is you’re passionate about.
